A Special Surprise During the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl
As a college football fanatic, bowl season is always a favorite time of year for me. I love grilling out before the games, watching great matchups almost every night and seeing some talented future gridiron heroes. This year, however, I couldn't wait to watch the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl for the chance to see some real heroes better known for their accomplishments off the football field.
In December, the Tostitos brand hosted the "Tostitos Homecoming Party Bowl" and turned a flag football game between two teams of U.S. military veterans into a star-studded homecoming party of a lifetime. At Cerritos College just south of Los Angeles, more than 10,000 screaming fans, two legendary college coaches and a few unexpected surprise athletes and celebrities joined the game, which also supported Got Your 6 and the Pat Tillman Foundation. The night was then capped off with a performance from chart-topping musical guest, Gym Class Heroes.
