One of my favorite things to do is cook for my family and friends using fresh ingredients and different spices. I try to make dishes I know they’ll love. I know my Mom enjoys fish and my fiancé likes hearty meat dishes. It’s no wonder I wound up working here at Frito-Lay – a food company that offers snacks that appeal to all different palates.
Being new to the Frito-Lay PR team, I’m learning how much culinary expertise goes into developing each of our products. Everyday, our chefs are in the test kitchen developing recipes that inspire new chip flavors and that incorporate our snacks into fun dishes. Did you know you can use our chips to make turkey stuffing? You’ll have to take a look at these recipes to get even more great ideas.
I’m excited to see which dishes I can make with our two new flavors of Tostitos Artisan Recipes tortilla chips: Baked Three Cheese Queso and Toasted Southwestern Spices. These chips feature exotic spices baked right into the chip dough, rather than applied on top after cooking, for a sophisticated and adventurous flavor experience. The recipe possibilities are endless!
