The best part about a weekend is spending time with your friends and family, enjoying great food and drinks. Snacks you can make in advance are a great way to make sure you're hanging out in the sun with your guests, and not in the kitchen. So, I thought I'd share my top drink and appetizer picks from Tostitos Fiesta 411 -- recipes created by entertaining guru Courtney Dial-Whitmore. You can make and then chill both in the fridge, so they're ready to take out in a flash when your guests arrive. Afterall, who doesn't want to enjoy their own party?
Citrus Sparkler (pictured above) - This drink recipe can be made the night before. An hour before the party, you can prep the glassses and you're ready to pour!
Mango Summer Salsa - The longer you let a salsa sit, the longer the ingredients have to combine and the flavors can intensify. Serve alongside either flavor of new Tostitos Thins tortilla chips: TexMex or Lime & Salt. For an extra kick, leave in some of the seeds from the jalapeno - just make sure you have that drink handy!
