Earlier this year, Taco Bell and Frito-Lay announced a new addition to Taco Bell's menu: Doritos Locos Tacos, crispy tacos with their shells made from Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips. As a self-proclaimed taco expert (I run an annual contest to find the best tacos in Dallas), I was pretty excited to try one for myself.
I tried the Doritos Locos Taco Supreme, a traditional Taco Bell Taco Supreme with the addition of a Doritos shell. The beef, lettuce, tomato and sour cream were a great match with the classic nacho cheese taste I've loved since I first tried Doritos as a kid. Being the social media nerd that I am, I immediately went online to tweet my friends to let them know they wouldn't want to miss this one!
As it turns out, I'm definitely not alone in sharing my affection for Doritos Locos Tacos on social media. Fans have written some amazing blog posts, and below are just a few out of the hundreds of tweets sent using the official hashtag of the taco (#DoritosLocosTacos). How cool is that?!
I have finally experienced the euphoric taste of the Doritos taco....best crunchy taco ever....#handsdown #DoritosLocosTacos

Why have you changed the Crunchy Cheetos? Im 59 yrs old and eaten Cheetos exclusively for as long as I can remember. They are different. I am not a fan and have stopped buying them.
