Around this time last year, Frito-Lay announced the return of Doritos Taco in response to feedback from snack fans. Now, to kick off 2012, I'm happy to say we're doing it again! Loyal fans have let us know -- through phone calls, e-mails, tweets, fan pages and comments on Facebook -- how much they want to see back on store shelves not just one, but two "Throwback" flavors of Doritos: Doritos Sour Cream and Onion and Doritos Salsa Rio.
These new "Throwback" snacks are a nod to flavors from the past that evoke fond memories for many of our fans. Whether you're looking to take a trip down memory lane or to try one of these classics for the first time, be sure to check our product locator to see if stores near you carry these limited-time snacks. Just don't wait too long, as they will only be available through February!

Forget the Limited Edition, make Salsa Rio a permanent addition to the Doritos family! I have a new favorite Doritos flavor and don't want it to go away. Pleeeeaaaasssseeee....

I went on the road with my husband, who is a truckdriver and found these new Lay's potato chips called Chile Limon. They are so good with just the right spices. I found them in California. So when I came back to Shreveport, Louisiana, I couldn't find them in stores here. So the only way I could get them is when my husband goes out to California. Please see if you can get some business, stores to sell them here in Shreveport, LA. I believe you will profit here also. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Thrilled to see Salsa Rio again -- I agree with the others, make it come back full time! There just aren't other chips out there that are JUST salsa flavored.
