You may remember us blogging earlier this month about our three Tastes from Home with Frito-Lay contest finalists, and you may have even voted for one of their recipes on Facebook, helping us select the grand prize winner, Elaine Okupski, and her delicious Greek Lamb Burger recipe. Now, we’re excited to invite you to join us at our Tastes from Home with Frito-Lay live streaming event taking place tonight!
To celebrate our line of Lay’s Regional Flavored potato chips, inspired by the diverse flavors and cuisines from across the U.S., Frito-Lay Executive Research Chef Stephen Kalil will show you how to make the three finalist recipes - foods inspired by our fans' favorite regional flavors - and answer your questions live, on-air. Our grand prize winner, Elaine, will join Chef Stephen to prepare her Greek Lamb Burgers.
The event takes place today, September 15, at 5:00 p.m. CDT. You can tune in to our UStream channel or Facebook page to watch and join the conversation on Twitter using hashtag, #FritoFlavors.
During the event, you’ll have the chance to ask Chef Stephen questions about the recipes and Frito-Lay chips, and by participating in the Twitter chat, you’ll be automatically entered to win the following prizes (see official rules):
- One Grand Prize: $100 Amex gift card, a Frito-Lay apron, five full-value coupons for free bags of chips
