Tostitos and football watching have long gone hand in hand -- the Tostitos brand has sponsored the Fiesta Bowl for 16 years, and we always see some of our highest sales of the year in the days leading up to the Super Bowl.
Starting this week, Tostitos is adding something extra special to football watching with limited-edition Tostitos Footballs -- Tostitos shaped like footballs -- complete with the laces -- and designed for dipping. There's even a football-themed dip recipe on the back of the bag, which Marc Valiani, a chef in our Culinary Innovation Center, creating using beer, bratwursts and Tostitos Smooth & Cheesy dip to provide an authentic tailgate taste.
Look for Tostitos Footballs on Tostitos "Footballiday" and college football displays at your favorite grocer or supermarket throughout football season!
The recipe on the back of the Tostitos Footballs packaging sounds delicious to me, but if you're looking for other ideas of what to pair with Tostitos for your next football-watching get together, you can find more tasty recipes on the Tostitos Web site. Deidra -- The Tostitos Tailgate Brat, Beer and Cheese Dip recipe is only located on the back of bags of limited-time Tostitos Footballs. You can also find other great recipes on www.tostitos.com!
