And Our BlogHer Contest Winners Are . . .

Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Chicago and attend the fifth annual BlogHer conference. In addition to meeting and mingling with our Fab 15 -- 15 female bloggers who helped kick-off Frito-Lay's "Only in a Woman's World" campaign earlier this year -- I got to meet hundreds of dynamic, energetic and creative women from around the country.  And, boy do they know a lot about blogging! 

At the event, we sampled some of the Frito-Lay products created with women in mind -- SmartFood, Baked! Lay's and 100-Calorie Mini Bites (Baked! Cheetos and Fritos) -- and hosted a station where women could visit the "Only in a Woman's World" Web site and create their own avatar for a chance to win an admission pass to BlogHer 2010 (which will be held in NY City!).  We selected one winner, at random, and we're happy to annouce that the winner of a BlogHer 2010 pass is:

Ana Picazo, "Bonggamom," from Silicon Valley, Calif.

And, while at BlogHer, we also offered a Frito-Lay Snack Pack for raffle -- a collection of Frito-Lay products such as Baked! Kathy Frederick, author of The Junk Drawer, from Bethlehem, Pa.

Kathy blogs about anything that crosses her mind -- things that amaze her, confuse her or just plain frustrate her!  She started The Junk Drawer writing about technical tips, language and linguistics and sharing humorous stories.  She says that a handful of people liked her tech tips, but most readers preferred her humor pieces, so she shifted her focus to humor.  Visit Kathy and The Junk Drawer to learn more about her life.
