Dave Philips, our Chief Blogger, wrote last week about our new Lay's Local campaign -- the biggest national campaign in Frito-Lay history, celebrating the more than 40,000 Americans that make, move and sell our Lay's potato chips.
This week, NBC News in Dallas featured a TV segment about the campaign and talked about the new "chip tracker" feature -- an online tool that lets you enter the code from your Lay’s bag and your ZIP code to find out where that bag of chips was made. The segment also highlighted the simple manufacturing process and freshness you get with Lay's potato chips -- it takes only 47 minutes to peel, wash, season and cook the farm-grown potatoes that become the bag of Lay's potato chips in your pantry. Check out the segment now.
